Key result: Surpass last year’s cumulative total

My plan is to broadly keep up with the average distance-per-week of last year, but ensure that I log some distance on weeks where I didn’t run in 2022. I will need to maintain an average distance per week of 13km; that’s achievable with just three runs per week. This plan involves consistency and I hope, as a by product, that it encourages discipline in other areas of my life.

Met: Run 5km in 21 minutes

Key result 2: Run 5k in under 21 minutes (met)

If I can steadily reduce my average pace, I could potentially target a 21 minute 5k on a day where the legs are feeling good.
